Last friday evening I got one of my first official gigs. I played the piano for a local restaurant called the Vintage Press! Its an elegant fine dinning restaurant and I was both nervous and excited to be there. I had to play for an hour and a half straight through with only a 15-30 second break between songs to change books/music sheets. You can't completely tell from this photo but I'm up on a loft built just for the piano. I had to climb this neat old spiral staircase to get up there. Thank goodness I'm not afraid of heights :)
